A complete line of iron based thermal spray and special welding wires to combat slip wear, abrasion, impact and erosion. The newest addition to the WearX line is the WearX 272 which is an amorphous structured thermal spray coating capable of the harsh environment with boilers up to 1100ºF especially coal ash corrosion and erosion. This line of materials is finding good successes in the boilers, grinding and pulverizing, mining and petrochemical environments. During this past year, WearX 208 and 210 have been both thermally sprayed and welded to address some of industry's most difficult wear problems. Capable of high build thicknesses while maintaining significant integrity sets these materials apart from the competition. The unique chemistry creates a slide barrier similar to a metallic glass. Unlike a hardened plate and carbide weldment, abrasive media moves quickly across a slip surface and does not penetrate the base metal. One area of increased use is in grinding waste product, concrete and slags.
